Dr. Jonah Knous DC, BS
Dr. Jonah was Born and raised in Waukee Iowa, where he graduated From Waukee High School. He knew he wanted to be a chiropractor in high school after seeing firsthand what the power of an adjustment could do. He continued his pursuit at Iowa State University receiving a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Kinesiology and attended Cleveland University - Kansas City to complete his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree.
His decision later was cemented after his older sister was diagnosed with Spinal TB, a rare form of Tuberculosis located in her spine. Her condition was first found and co-managed by her chiropractor. After reconstructive surgeries and treatments, she continues to receive chiropractic treatments from Dr. Jonah to keep up with her busy lifestyle as a mother and pediatric nurse at Blank Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Jonah has extensive training in the most modern chiropractic techniques to best suit each patient; including Gonstead, Diversified, Extremities, and Activator. He most commonly utilizes an adjustment technique called “Specific Prone” which is gentle enough for newborns and effective enough for the most complex cases.
